Horse Girl Jeans
The horse is big enough to actually see from across a yard, and it is stitched — chestnut thread, flying mane, the lot. I have bought a lot of horse clothing and none of it was this well made.

Yes. Each pair is cut and sewn after you order it: the panel is cut to shape, the side seam is opened, the panel is set in and the seam is closed around it, then the embroidery goes on. That is why it takes a few days before anything ships, and why the seam line is never in exactly the same place twice. It is one person at a machine, not a press.
-
Yes — 30 days from the day it lands on your doorstep. If the size is off, the wash is not the blue you pictured, or anything else is wrong, write to us and we will sort it out with a replacement or your money back. You do not owe us an explanation.
-
Large and deliberately unmistakable — it sits on the widest part of the panel below the knee and it is embroidered in chestnut thread, not printed, so you can feel the stitching. Around it run small horseshoes, a looped rope border and sprigs of wheat. The panel itself runs from the hip right to the hem on both legs.
-
Yes — the panel is sewn in and the pattern on it is thread, not a transfer sitting on top, so there is nothing to crack or peel. Wash cold and inside out, hang them to dry, and the panel comes through it fine. A hot wash and a tumble dryer will shrink the denim around the seam and pucker the panel, which is the one thing that genuinely spoils them.

Sizes run XS to XL and they come up true, with one thing worth knowing: the waist is cut high and fitted, so go by your waist measurement rather than by the dress size on the label. The table below gives a waist and a hip range in inches for every size. If you are between two, take the larger — the denim gives at the hip within a day. The inseam is 33 inches, long on purpose so the flare still reaches with a heel under it.

Every piece is made to order, so there are a few days in production first, then 5–7 business days in transit. The moment the parcel leaves, your tracking number lands in your inbox and you can follow it the whole way.

| S | 4–6 | 26–27" | 36–37" |
| M | 8–10 | 28–29" | 38–39" |

Go by your waist measurement, not the dress size on the label — the rise is cut high and fitted. Between two sizes, take the larger; the denim gives at the hip within a day. Inseam is 33".
The panel
The horse.
Down the whole leg.
Down the outside of each leg, from the hip right to the hem, runs a long tapered panel of warm sand-coloured tulle embroidered with a large galloping horse in chestnut thread, small horseshoes, a looped rope border and sprigs of wheat in cream and tan. It is a real inset: the side seam is opened and the panel is sewn into it, so it moves with the leg instead of flapping, and the scalloped edge is stitched down all the way round.
The rise is cut high and fitted through the hip, then the leg opens from the knee into a wide bell. Because the panel widens with the flare, the hem clears a boot shaft instead of riding up behind the calf. The inseam is 33 inches, long on purpose, so it still reaches with a heel under it. Sizes XS to XL.

The difference
You already own
the same jeans
as everyone else.
They are fine. They fit, they are the right blue, they do the job. They are also the exact same pair that came off the same line into every shop in the country, and the only thing you chose about them was the size.
That is not a cheap-jeans problem. That is what mass production is for. A factory that cuts forty thousand pairs cannot stop and set a panel into one side seam by hand — whether the pair costs forty dollars or four hundred.
These are built the other way round. Nothing is cut until you order. The side seam is opened and a panel of warm sand-coloured tulle is set into it by hand, from the hip all the way to the hem, where it is actually seen — not a small print on a back pocket nobody looks at.

Finally horse clothing that is not a t-shirt
The horse is properly embroidered in chestnut thread with a flying mane, not a transfer, and the rope border around it is stitched too. They went straight on and I wore them to the yard the same day. I am a 29 waist and took the M.

They clear a riding boot, which nothing else I own does
The flare is wide enough that the denim falls over the shaft instead of riding up and gathering behind my calf. Three people at the yard asked. The sand panel against the pale denim is softer in person than on screen, which I prefer.

Four washes, no fading on the horse
Cold wash, hung to dry, nothing puckered around the stitching. One honest gripe: the 33 inch inseam is long, so in flat yard boots they just touch the ground. With a heeled boot they are perfect. I am 5'5" and would order the same size again.
