I bought them for one evening in December and ended up wearing them all month. The candy canes and snowflakes are embroidered, not printed, and the rhinestones are properly set.

  • Yes. Each pair is cut and sewn after you order it: the panel is cut to shape, the side seam is opened, the panel is set in and the seam is closed around it, then the embroidery goes on. That is why it takes a few days before anything ships, and why the seam line is never in exactly the same place twice. It is one person at a machine, not a press.

  • Yes — 30 days from the day it lands on your doorstep. If the size is off, the wash is not the blue you pictured, or anything else is wrong, write to us and we will sort it out with a replacement or your money back. You do not owe us an explanation.

  • They are set, not glued on top of the weave, so they stay put through normal wear. Wash cold and inside out and hang them to dry and you will not lose any. What does loosen them is a tumble dryer, where they knock against the drum for half an hour — that is the one thing to avoid.

  • Yes — the panel is sewn in and the pattern on it is thread, not a transfer sitting on top, so there is nothing to crack or peel. Wash cold and inside out, hang them to dry, and the panel comes through it fine. A hot wash and a tumble dryer will shrink the denim around the seam and pucker the panel, which is the one thing that genuinely spoils them.

  • Sizes run XS to XL and they come up true, with one thing worth knowing: the waist is cut high and fitted, so go by your waist measurement rather than by the dress size on the label. The table below gives a waist and a hip range in inches for every size. If you are between two, take the larger — the denim gives at the hip within a day. The inseam is 33 inches, long on purpose so the flare still reaches with a heel under it.

  • Every piece is made to order, so there are a few days in production first, then 5–7 business days in transit. The moment the parcel leaves, your tracking number lands in your inbox and you can follow it the whole way.

The panel

Christmas.
Hip to hem.

Down the outside of each leg, from the hip right to the hem, runs a long tapered panel of sheer ivory tulle embroidered with red-and-white candy canes, white snowflakes, small eight-point stars and glossy red satin bows. It is a real inset: the side seam is opened and the panel is sewn into it, so it moves with the leg instead of flapping, and the scalloped edge is stitched down all the way round.

The rise is cut high and fitted through the hip, then the leg opens from the knee into a wide bell. Because the panel widens with the flare, the hem clears a boot shaft instead of riding up behind the calf. The inseam is 33 inches, long on purpose, so it still reaches with a heel under it. Sizes XS to XL.

The difference

You already own
the same jeans
as everyone else.

They are fine. They fit, they are the right blue, they do the job. They are also the exact same pair that came off the same line into every shop in the country, and the only thing you chose about them was the size.

That is not a cheap-jeans problem. That is what mass production is for. A factory that cuts forty thousand pairs cannot stop and set a panel into one side seam by hand — whether the pair costs forty dollars or four hundred.

These are built the other way round. Nothing is cut until you order. The side seam is opened and a panel of sheer ivory tulle is set into it by hand, from the hip all the way to the hem, where it is actually seen — not a small print on a back pocket nobody looks at.

  • One pair at a time

Nothing is made until you order it, and no two pairs come out identical

  • Made to order

A few days in production, then 5–7 business days with tracking

  • 30-day returns

If the size is wrong, send them back

Wore them to our work party and to Christmas dinner

The red is a proper deep red, not orange, and the panel is genuinely embroidered - I checked because photos of this kind of thing are usually printed. Got asked three times at the party. I am a 28 waist and took the M.

More festive than a jumper and I can actually sit down in them

I am done with novelty jumpers. These do the same job and look like clothes. The tulle panel is sheer ivory so the candy canes read clearly from across the room, and the flare clears a boot without bunching behind the calf.

Washed them twice in December, still perfect

Cold wash, hung to dry, no fading and not one rhinestone missing. One honest gripe: the 33 inch inseam is long, so flat shoes mean they drag on the ground. With a heel they are spot on. I am 5'5" and would order the same size again.
